A journey of a thousand miles

This blog is the journey of me learning to program using Swift and SwiftUI.   I accidentally re-discovered the Blogger account that I set up 10+ years ago.   What perfect timing this is.  A new language, a new blog, and a new goal.

I have been aware of the Swift programming language for a few years.  But I have not spent time learning it until last month.  The WWDC20 videos inspired me to take a more in-depth look at the language itself and SwiftUI framework for the iOS and macOS operating systems.  I liked what I saw, and decided to add this to my tool belt.

As the saying goes: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.   I have started the 100 days of SwiftUI by Paul Hudson this weekend and just completed the Day 18 - Project 1, WeSplit part three.  Let's hope I stick it to the end and finish the marathon.
